Though I haven't sent query letters off, waiting for the right manuscript to be done, when that time comes, I'll make sure to follow this very sound advice. The way I see it, it's just common sense. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't want to even read a manuscript given by someone whose freaking me out with vials of blood, threatening phone calls, or papers slipped under the bathroom stall.
