Hi Jim,

Yes, our software can be used for short stories. You simply have to reduce the number of words per section (similar to a scene). For example, you could use the 50,000-word-length template, which calls for 30 sections. Let’s say you’re aiming for a story of about 7,500 words. When you actually write your story from your template, you would aim for approximately 250 words (approximately one double-spaced manuscript page) per section.

No, the workbook is not in ebook form. The only way to get it would be to buy a used copy of the actual book.

Can you tell me if your ‘The Marshall Plan Workbook’ is avaliable as an ebook download? I hope so as it dificult for me to order actual physical books as I travel alot.

No, they are not the same. The book called simply Novel Writing is the British edition.

Mr Marshall,
is the book for sale above the same as the kindle version on Amazon (Novel Writing: 16 Steps to Success) ?

They seem to have different covers and titles but the descriptions are the same almost.

I’m a little confused, but that’s no surprise.
